Home >> Preschool >> Curriculum Program Objectives Throughout our Preschool program months, September through May, your child will have experiences which will promote skills that involve alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes and writing along with social and physical development. They will be exposed to the alphabet (both upper and lower case letters), numbers 1-20, counting up to 100, colors, shapes, science and logical thinking.  They will learn these skills through singing songs, poems, nursery rhymes, stories (old and new) and through hands-on activities. Most of the curriculum I use, I develop myself.  Because of this, I am able to develop just what your child needs at any given time. As they grow, my curriculum will change for them.  I maintain a 1-teacher to 6-student ratio.  However, during our educational instruction time I provide a 1:1 ratio.  Each child cannot wait until it is their turn to have their one on one time with me! As a result, I have the opportunity to teach most children to read before they enter Kindergarten, helping them all be well prepared for school.
